Job Function:

  • 24x7 escalation point for Tier 1&2 support staff.
  • On-site coverage as required by Client's specific SLA.
Skills:
  • Excellent knowledge of servers (assembly, troubleshooting, etc) from all main hardware vendors HP, Dell, IBM, Compaq).
  • MCSE NT/2000/2003 and above knowledge level.
  • CCA (Citrix Certified Administrator for Metaframe XP) knowledge level with hands on experience in large Metaframe farm implementation and support.
  • Good knowledge of Windows 2003 and Active Directory, Group Policies, Exchange, SQL, IIS, Microsoft Operations Manager, Internet Security and Acceleration Server, SharePoint Team and Portals services, Software Update Server and other popular Microsoft solutions.
  • In-depth VMWare solutions knowledge with real-world experience creating large virtual servers infrastructure including backup and maintenance procedures and methodology.
Responsibilities:
  • Assembly, deployment, and support of HP, Dell, IBM, Compaq.
  • Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Client's Windows NT/2000/2003 servers.
  • Post installation security hardening and policy implementation.
  • Group Policies deployment and troubleshooting.
  • AD synchronization deployment and troubleshooting.
  • NT to Active Directory domain migration.
  • Exchange Server installation; Exchange migration from 5.5 to 2003.
  • Installation SSL certificates for web servers.
  • Clustering and load balancing technologies implementation for Microsoft-Intel platforms.
  • SUS (Software Update Server) deployment (ultimate patching solution for workstations).
  • Applying security patches on servers domain wide.
  • Microsoft ISA server Deployment and configuration
  • Deploying MOM 2000/2005 for servers' health monitoring solution.
  • Deploying NetIQ AppManager for servers' health monitoring solution.
  • Deploying alternative monitoring solutions for servers'/applications health monitoring.
  • VMWare GSX server implementation for consolidation of hardware resources.
  • Migration of existing physical servers into virtual servers.
  • Citrix Metaframe XP farm installation.
  • Applications installation for Citrix Farm.
  • Citrix NFuse web solution implementation.
