Services - Network and Security Tier 3 / Implementation Services
Job Function:
- 24x7 escalation point for Tier 1&2 support staff.
- On-site coverage as required by Client specific SLA.
Skills:
- CCNP and above (or equivalent vendor certification) knowledge level for configuration and troubleshooting of LAN/WAN/VPN/WLAN devices and associated network technologies and protocols.
- CCSE and above knowledge level for configuration and troubleshooting of CheckPoint FW systems and associated security infrastructure.
- In-depth knowledge of Client's LAN, WAN, VPN, WLAN and Security infrastructure.
- In-depth knowledge of DHCP and DNS protocols and services.
- Working knowledge of Windows 2003 and Active Directory.
Responsibilities:
- Configuration and troubleshooting of Client's LAN/WAN routers and switches.
- Configuration and troubleshooting of Client's Wireless LAN infrastructure including encryption and strong authentication systems.
- Configuration and troubleshooting of Client's content management/proxy systems.
- Configuration and troubleshooting of Client's Firewalls and associated Management infrastructure Strong authentication systems (RSA ACE, MS IAS).
- Configuration and troubleshooting of Client's IPSec VPN infrastructure.
- Configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance of Client's routing schemes and protocols as specified by Architecture staff.
- Network-side support, configuration and troubleshooting for Client's VoIP infrastructure via interface with Client's Telecom team.
- Liaison interface with Client's WAN provider(s).
- Consulting support to Client's infrastructure teams for network and security related projects.
- Ongoing interface with Client's Security Manager.
- Configuration and maintenance of Client's Network Monitoring systems Advanced troubleshooting using deep packet analysis and capture tools (Cisco RSPAN, Network Sniffer, etc).
- Patch management for all of the above systems.
